Ratings are relative, 1-5, for a typical filament of this type. Start from your filament maker's recommended settings.

Use it for

  • You want PETG’s toughness without waiting around.
  • Enclosures, mounts, brackets, and batches of functional parts are where it shines on a fast printer.

Watch out for

  • Needs strong cooling at high speeds, but too much cooling weakens PETG layers; find the balance.
  • On a slower printer you gain little over regular PETG.

Tips

  • Start with the manufacturer’s high-speed profile for your printer and raise flow gradually.
  • Always dry it first; wet PETG at high speed is a mess.
