Ratings are relative, 1-5, for a typical filament of this type. Start from your filament maker's recommended settings.

Use it for

  • Busts, statues, planters for indoor use, bookends, and anything meant to look like stone or concrete.
  • The speckles break up layer lines so prints look natural without painting.

Watch out for

  • Behaves like standard PLA: brittle and heat-sensitive.
  • Brands vary. Some contain mineral fillers that wear nozzles slowly, so check the maker’s notes.
  • Fine detail can look noisy under the speckle.

Tips

  • Print slightly slower for clean surfaces, and choose a slightly larger nozzle if your brand clogs.
