Ratings are relative, 1-5, for a typical filament of this type. Start from your filament maker's recommended settings.

Use it for

  • Brackets, holders, hooks, phone stands, and enclosures that will be handled, bumped, and screwed together.
  • Anywhere plain PLA would snap but you still want an easy print.

Watch out for

  • “PLA+” has no fixed recipe: each brand uses different additives, so behavior varies. Expect to tune temperature a little.
  • Heat resistance is still PLA-level. It is not a PETG replacement for hot places.

Tips

  • Print slightly hotter than plain PLA (about +5-10 °C) for better layer bonding, which is where the extra strength comes from.
